FLORENCE (WBTW) — Three cities in the News13 viewing area made a recent list of South Carolina’s Best Main Streets: Bennettsville (5), Conway (8), and Florence (9).
The website Only In Your State put out the list, with the following criteria and introduction:
“There was a time, before urban sprawl, when our South Carolina main streets were the heartbeat of the town. A place where people regularly met on the corner and in the establishments and kept up with each other. We took an armchair tour of some of South Carolina’s main streets and downtown areas today and are happy to report some look as beautiful as ever.”
Also on the list: Hartsville (13) and Sumter (22).
