HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police say they have identified the man responsible for hurting a 60-year-old convenience store clerk while robbing a Conway store early Wednesday morning.
According to Lt. Raul Denis, officers responded to an alarm at the Scotchman Convenience Store, located at 510 Hwy 544, in

Conway at 6:33 a.m. Wednesday morning. The clerk, a 60-year-old woman, reported that she was robbed by a young, tall, and skinny black man.
Officers have identified the robbery suspect as Salvador Sanchez Ware, 35, of Conway. Ware is being sought for kidnapping, assault first degree, and strong armed robbery, adds Lt. Denis.
Police say Ware assaulted the clerk, severely injuring her during the crime before leaving with an undetermined amount of money. The employee was treated by emergency crews.
