ROWLAND, NC (WBTW) – Rescue crews were called to a crash involving a school bus Tuesday morning near Rowland.
Pictures from the scene show a 4-door car with heavy damage to the front-end collided with the rear of a school bus around 8 a.m. on US 301 South.
Robeson County Public Schools Public Information Officer Tasha Oxendine said 18 Rowland Middle School students were on board at the time of the crash.
One student was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, Oxendine said.
The driver was not injured in the crash Oxendine said.
