LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – Lumberton Police have released photos of the suspect who they say shot a woman as she was traveling through an alley near Biggs Park Mall, between Crossfit and Drugs America, Wednesday night.
The gunman fired at the vehicle the woman was driving, shooting her twice, according to Captain Terry Parker with Lumberton 
Police.
Officers say the incident happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday and they have not caught the shooter. Photos of the suspect were captured on a nearby surveillance camera and investigators are asking anyone with information on the man’s identity to call the Lumberton Police Department at (910) 671-3846.
Police say the woman’s gunshot wounds are non life-threatening. Captain Parker says the shooting appears to be a random act. He says surveillance video shows the suspect hanging around in the alley for ten or fifteen minutes before the shooting happened. The victim told police she didn’t recognize the shooter.
