FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence Police are investigating an overnight convenience store robbery and released photos of the suspects in hope the community will be able to identify the people responsible.
The robbery happened just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police say an employee had already locked up for the night at The Markette at 2401 West Palmetto Street, when he was approached by three men, and one of them had a gun.
The trio forced the employee back inside and got money out of the cash register.
The victim told police that the suspects were black men ages 20-25. Officers say one of the men stands approximately 5’7″ and weighs 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and mask. The second man was about 5’4″ and 175 pounds with a white shirt and was also wearing a mask. The only description given for the third robber is that he was also masked.
