MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man is behind bars for an alleged sex crime committed at the end of August.
A Myrtle Beach Police incident reports states 32-year-old Jerry Lee Stovall is charged with criminal sexual conduct third degree after a female reported Stovall sexually assaulted her on August 23.
The police report states officers responded to Miller-Motte Technical College to speak with the victim in reference “to a rape that occurred on August 23.” The victim explained the incident to officers, claiming she was assaulted on the night of August 22 and the following morning.
The report documents that the alleged assault took place at a residence on Pine Lake Drive in Myrtle Beach.
Stovall is behind bars at the Myrtle Beach Jail. There is no documented date for an upcoming bond hearing.
