GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – A Murrells Inlet man was arrested and charged with a sex crime against a child after someone at St. James High School reported a student had been molested.

According to a police report from Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Bradley Morris, 38, of Murrells Inlet, after a 15-year-old girl told officials that she had been molested by the man. Deputies responded to St. James High School December 4 where agents with the Department of Social Services and the sheriff’s office victim’s advocate spoke with the teen, the report states.
The St. James student told officials that Morris molested her on different occasions from May 31, 2014 to December 1, 2015. An unidentified person at the school reported that the young girl had been sexually assaulted, the report details.
Morris was booked into the Georgetown County Detention Center Sunday night at 8:12 p.m. on one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, and was released less than 24 hours later on a $25,000 bond.
