COLUMBIA, SC- Former Gamecock star Marcus Lattimore is returning to the football team. The State newspaper reports he accepted an offer from Coach Will Muschamp to join the staff after his graduation in May.
Lattimore won’t coach, but instead will take on a role similar to his leadership academies. He focuses on life off the football field.
After last night’s announcement, Lattimore tweeted about the decision.
