MURRELLS INLET, SC (WBTW) – Donald Trump is holding onto his big lead among likely GOP voters in South Carolina.
On Saturday local bikers held a rally to show their support for the Republican Presidential candidate and about 100 Trump supporters came out.
Chris Cox founded Bikers for Trump 2016 and spoke to the crowd.
The rally focused on three main speaking points that he says are especially important to bikers: the war against radical Islam, immigration and the need to support veterans.
People in the crowd said they support Trump because he is unafraid to say what’s truly on the mind’s of voters and doesn’t mince words about it.
Cox says nine out of ten bikers have common political causes.
“Our goal is to unite bikers around the country. Bikers have never been used in a presidential campaign like this as a demographic and if we come together collectively we’ll have the same numbers as say the NRA or teamsters because there are millions upon millions of them,” said Cox.
A raffle for a signed Trump shirt was held after the rally. Cox heads to Florida for another Bikers for Trump rally before heading north to Iowa.
