MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Power outages in the Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest and Surfside Beach areas have caused several traffic lights to go out.
Santee Cooper reports 6,790 customers are without power Wednesday afternoon.
Myrtle Beach Police Department posted to its Facebook page that they have officers responding to numerous traffic lights that are disabled as a result of the outage.
We are experiencing multiple power outages at various intersections within the city. Officers are responding to these locations as quickly as possible.” – Myrtle Beach Police
Santee Cooper reports power is expected to be restored to all customers by 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
