LONGS, SC (WBTW) – A single vehicle crash claimed the life of a Longs man early Monday morning on SC 57, according to Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.
The crash occurred around 4:39 a.m. Monday on SC 57 South near Gore Road at Mt. Zion Road, as reported by South Carolina Highway Patrol. Troopers were on the scene of the crash for hours Monday morning and the road was closed for an extended period of time.
Coroner Robert Edge says 32-year-old Horace Jamarr Bellamy was killed in the crash. Officials say Bellamy was pronounced deceased at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle.
South Carolina Highway Patrol has not released details surrounding the circumstances of the crash.
