INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One of the men accused in the death of Amanda Blackburn has been charged for the murder and robbery of another person in early November.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office charged Larry Jo Taylor Jr. with murder, felony murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury in connection to the robbery and death of Rolando Gonzalez-Hernandez on Nov. 4 in the 4500 block of Candletree Circle. Gonzalez-Hernandez was found next to his vehicle after being shot.
Witnesses told investigators Taylor told them he robbed and shot someone at the same apartment complex where Gonzalez-Hernandez was found dead. Cell phone calls also placed him in the area at the time of the murder.
Taylor and Jalen Watson are both charged in connection to the shooting death of Blackburn, which happened a week after Gonzalez-Hernandez’s death. Blackburn is the pregnant Indianapolis woman who was married to a local pastor. Her death made national headlines.
Taylor and Watson are also facing charges for a burglary and rape that happened at an apartment on Nov. 3.
