HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – A number of roads throughout Horry County are closed due to recent rain flooding the streets.
According to Horry County Emergency Management, officials continue to monitor the river levels along the Little Pee Dee River, Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal Waterway due to the recent rain. Low lying areas around some of the local boat landings have prompted the following roads to close temporarily due to flooding:
• Lucas Bay Road (closed near the Pee Dee Hwy. end)
• Hughes Landing
• Punch Bowl Rd
• Landing Rd (includes River Front North & South)
• Pitts Landing (off Hwy 378)
