FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence County Sheriff’s Deputies as well as Florence Police are searching for a shooter in the Brunson Street area Tuesday afternoon after a man was found shot, lying in the road.
Florence Police Major Carlos Raines confirms a man was shot and found in the road in the 700 block of Boyd Street in Florence Tuesday afternoon. The victim has been taken to the hospital, adds Major Raines, but his condition was not immediately known.
Florence County deputies and Florence Police are working together to find the shooter, says Major Raines. Law enforcement officials have K-9 units out in the area of Brunson Street, where the shooter was last seen.
Major Raines says officers are searching for a tall, black male last seen wearing jeans, a thermal shirt, and ball cap. Police say the gunman was last seen heading east toward Brunson Street.
