MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – A local group is hosting a domestic violence awareness walk on Sunday in the Grand Strand.

The walk will be at the track at Socastee High School.
Registration begins at 2 p.m., and the walk will be at 3 p.m. The cost of registration ranges from $5-$20. Proceeds from the walk will benefit The Family Justice Center in Georgetown.
Also on Sunday, River City Café will donate to the walk every time a customer mentions the domestic violence event.
