The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is remembering one of its officers by sharing a private moment with the public.
K9 Officer Conan died recently. He was 13 years old.
He served in the sheriff’s office as an explosives and tracking dog for seven years before being retired. He stayed with the family of his handler, a sheriff’s deputy, and it was presumably here that Conan expressed his love for country music and specifically Toby Keith.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook this week:
For those that might wonder what our K9s do in their off time…..
Rest in Peace Conan. You were appreciated for many reasons. This memory brings a smile to many officers.”
The video was originally posted to YouTube in January, 2011.
