MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Paula Deen may soon be bringing her wholesome, southern cooking to Myrtle Beach.
The City of Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board will consider plans for Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen at its February 4 meeting.
According to a building permit application, developers want to build the restaurant on the site of the former Carlos ‘N Charlie’s restaurant. Plans request crews first tear down the former Carlos ‘N Charlie’s restaurant building before constructing the proposed 2-story, 21,000 square foot building.
The total valuation on the building is $3.9 million. The new building would also include retail space, the application says.
