The Performing Arts and Science Academy in Marion will get a new addition, thanks to a donation from Duke Energy.
The utility gave the school $5,000 to build a space flight simulator.
The simulator will test the students’ math and communication skills as they work together to blast off, complete a mission and return safely to earth.
