MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The City of Myrtle Beach has turned discarded Christmas trees into mulch, which is now available to the community on a first come, first served basis.
Free mulch is available, while it lasts, on Mr. Joe White Avenue behind Myrtle Waves Water Park, according to a Facebook post from the city. Discarded Christmas trees have been ground into mulch during the Grinding of the Greens.
The mulch is free to the public on a first come, first served basis.
