DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – The man wanted in the September 13 shooting of a woman in the Green Hill community remains in the Darlington County Detention Center on four charges.
Daviontez Damaize Zimmerman, 21, of Hartsville, was arrested Wednesday night by Darlington County Sheriff’s deputies along with members of U.S. Marshal’s Office fugitive task force.
Zimmerman is accused of shooting 54-year-old Tonya Jackson.
Zimmerman is charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, malicious injury to personal property more than $2,000 but less than $10,000 and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
