MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) Don’t worry nothing has changed as far as the delicious food is concerned, it’s the destination of the money after you pay for your bill.
The Mellow Mushroom uses this time around Valentines Day to show some love to some of our most loyal companions.
“We try to cater to all walks whether its two legs or four legs,” Mellow Mushroom owner Matt Duke said.
As that pizza goes into the oven today, the end result isn’t just a delicious meal and a happy stomach.
“We really try to give back to the community,” Duke said.
The Mellow Mushroom in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach and Florence hosts their annual “Lunch of Love” that they say brings out the animal enthusiast.
That’s because half of what you pay for your meal goes to help the local Humane Society.
“We love to do events like this that really help our community and help the local organizations,” Duke said. “Don’t get me wrong we love the summer, we love for the influx of business but this time of the year where we can kind of catch our breath and help those that are in need has been awesome.”
There are three different options for your ten dollar lunch including pizza, salad or sandwich.
