MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a convenience store robbery Thursday morning.
According to the MBPD website, the incident happened around 3:45 a.m. at the Kangaroo store on Oleander Drive. Police say a man walked into the store and told the cashier to open the register.
The robber then grabbed $25 from the drawer and walked out of the store, the report said.
The suspect is described as being a thin-built black male with shoulder-length dreads. He was wearing a black hoodie with black and white pants. He was also wearing a black and white mask.
He was last seen leaving the area in a white SUV, the report said.
No weapons were seen by the cashier during the robbery and they were no injuries reported.
