An agent with South Carolina Department of Social Service reported to Horry County Police that 28-year-old Tabitha Anne Carr, of Murrells Inlet, tested positive for cannabinoids during her third trimester of pregnancy on Jan. 16. As a result, a 1-year-old little girl in Carr’s care, was also given a drug screen.

Through a hair follicle drug test given Jan. 29, it was discovered the toddler also had cannabinoids in her system, the police report states.

Carr was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center Tuesday at 11:09 a.m. on one count of unlawful neglect of a child. She was released about five hours later on a $10,000 bond.
