CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department announced a major marijuana bust Thursday.
According to a press release, detectives served a search warrant on a home on Lafayette Circle in the Little River area of Horry County after reports of residents growing marijuana in the home.
Officers found 216 marijuana plants, two rifles, one handgun, and an estimated 40 pounds of loose marijuana. the report said.
Michael David Spangler, 54, of Little River, and Julie C. Branham, 46, of Little River, are charged with trafficking marijuana, 100 pounds or more.
