CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Firefighters with Horry County Fire Rescue are battling a blaze just off of Winter Rain Drive in Conway Saturday afternoon.
According to Battalion Chief Brian VanAernem, crews are taming a two acre brush fire off of Winter Rain Drive near Hallie Martin Road in Conway. The call came in to emergency dispatch just after 3 p.m. Saturday.
The South Carolina Forestry Association is assisting fire crews and two plows have been requested to help extinguish the flames. No structures are currently threatened by the fire, VanAernem adds.
