MARSTON, NC (WBTW) – The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Marston man Thursday for sexual assault of a child.
Sheriff Ralph Kersey says the Criminal Investigative Division of Scotland County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mickey Ray Sessoms Jr., of Marston, for an outstanding felony warrant for sexual assault on a child. Sessoms is charged with statutory rape of a child age 13 to 15.
Sessoms received a secured bond of $250,000, reports Sheriff Kersey. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the State Bureau of Investigation in the arrest. The investigation remains ongoing.
