The North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety is advising drivers they cannot access the Little River Swing Bridge Wednesday evening.
An alert from the public safety department says the Little River Swing Bridge is closed due to mechanical issues. Officials suggest drivers use Little River high rise bridge on Highway 17 as an alternate route.
An estimated time when the Little River Swing Bridge may reopen has not been announced.
