MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – An undercover sting operation by Myrtle Beach Police landed at least one woman behind bars on charges of prostitution.
According to a Myrtle Beach incident report, Lauren Bailey Vereen, 37, was arrested Monday night after an undercover officer responded to her online ad for escort services. The officer texted Vereen in regards to the internet post and Vereen responded that her “donations” were $80 for one half hour and $160 for an hour, as stated on the report.
Just after 10 p.m. Monday, Vereen met the undercover policeman at a location off Yaupon Drive in Myrtle Beach, where the officer recorded his conversation with Vereen, the report states. Vereen agreed to sexual acts for a certain amount of money, with other sexual acts requiring additional cash.
The undercover officer then revealed his identity and Vereen was arrested by two uniformed Myrtle Beach Police officers. Vereen was booked into the Myrtle Beach Jail on one count of prostitution.
Two other individuals were arrested on prostitution charges by Myrtle Beach Police Monday night, but it was not immediately known if their arrests were the result of the undercover operation.
Marco Antonio Flores-Cruz, 22, of Middletown, PA, was arrested Monday on one count of prostitution. Flores-Crus is booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center where bond is set at $781.
Sabrina Bernice Cruz, 31, was arrested Monday night on one count of prostitution and was booked into the Myrtle Beach Jail.
