DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Two people arrested Wednesday for grand larceny in Darlington now face charges for drug manufacturing after a meth lab was discovered on Cashua Ferry Road.

Sheriff Wayne Byrd says agents with the Drug Enforcement Unit discovered a meth lab inside a vehicle Wednesday on Cashua Ferry Road. SLED was called to the location to help in cleaning up hazardous materials.

As a result, deputies charged Kenneth Turner, 31, of Darlington and Harley Ball, 26, of Hemingway with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and broken seal.

Turner and Ball were both arrested Wednesday on charges of grand larceny after deputies say they were involved in the theft of a vehicle Sunday night on South Main Street.
