CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A man driving through Conway Thursday afternoon wrecked his vehicle and was discovered by officers with a gunshot wound, according to police.
Lt. Selena Small with Conway Police says at about 2:50 p.m. Thursday officers responded to Parkhill Drive and Elm Street in Conway in reference to a possible shooting. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered a vehicle wrecked in a ditch and the driver was suffering from a gunshot wound.
Lt. Small says the driver has been transported by EMS to a local hospital and investigators are still early on in the investigation. Officials have not yet released any information regarding a possible shooter.
The man, according to Conway Police, was in stable condition late Thursday evening.
