KINGSTREE, SC (WBTW) – The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in locating an armed robbery suspect.
Investigator Alex Edwards with the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office, says deputies are searching for Jasmine Andrell Wimbush,18, of Olanta. Wimbush is wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred on February 21, 2014 in the parking lot of George’s Truck Stop located on Eastland Avenue in Kingstree.
Wimbush, along with two men, held the male victim at gun point, and demanded the victim’s money and cellphone, says Investigator Edwards. The other suspects are currently in custody at the Williamsburg County Detention Center.
Wimbush is considered to be armed and dangerous, adds Investigator Edwards. The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information concerning Wimbush’s whereabouts to please call 843-355-6381 Ext. 4538. Callers can remain anonymous.
