MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Officers responded to a Myrtle Beach hotel Wednesday for a possible drowning after receiving an emergency call that a child had been pulled from the hotel pool.
Lt. Joey Crosby with Myrtle Beach Police says officers responded to the Caravelle Resort, located at 6900 North Ocean Boulevard, Wednesday afternoon in reference to a child being rescued from the pool. The child, whose age was not immediately known, was transported to the hospital.
The child’s condition is unknown at this time, adds Lt. Crosby. As more information is provided by police, those details will be released on WBTW.com.
