MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – Authorities are trying to find out who shot and killed a person near Marion Friday night, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Mark Richardson says officers were called to a scene on Grassy Court near Marion around 10:00 p.m. Friday night. One female was found dead from a gunshot wound.
Marion County Sheriff’s officers are on scene and SLED crime scene is on its way from Columbia to assist the investigation.
