MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – Ian Happ ripped a two-run double to the warning track in right-center field to give the Pelicans a 5-4 walk-off victory over the Winston-Salem Dash Monday night.
The Pelicans (3-2) took advantage of 11 walks from Dash (1-4) pitching to come back from a three run deficit.
Monday’s walk-off is the first for Myrtle Beach since the Mills Cup Championship-clinching win against Wilmington in 2015.
The Pelicans and Dash will meet again at 7:05pm Tuesday night.
