This Tuesday the Special Olympics will come to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Stadium.

The Pelicans will honor the athletes at their game on April 23rd while also helping to raise money.

“It’s just a really fun thing that we do down at the ball park and do other events in the community, and it all supports Special Olympic athletes and we treat them as our heroes; and we do a Special Olympics super hero theme and show them that we appreciate them,” said Gandy Henry who works with the Pelicans.

Tickets for the game are $11, $5 of each sold will go to support the Special Olympics.
