Mullins, SC – Pee Dee Academy is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year. The celebration will be marked throughout the school year with numerous events.Below is a list of some of the events we have planned, we hope to add more events to this list throughout the year. October 16th Homecoming/50th Anniversary Celebration Kick Off
Alumni, friends and family – you are invited to come out to Pee Dee Academy’s Homecoming Game as the Eagles try and stomp the Holly Hill Raiders and we celebrate PDA’s 50th Anniversary. Prior to the game, our Student Council will offer tours of the school beginning at 7pm in the canteen. Alumni tents will be set up inside the gate where you can take a stroll down memory lane as you look through past Annuals. We will also have memorabilia such as sports uniforms, a letterman jacket and even a canteen price list from 1977 set up for viewing. Come see just how much we have grown in the past 50 years with our continuously running slide show. Past Alumni are encouraged to sign in at the tent to be eligible for door prizes. It promises to be a night of reconnecting, reminiscing and great football!
November 7th Miss Pee Dee Academy Pageant
Alumni, friends and family are invited to the annual Pee Dee Academy Pageant which begins at 6pm. We have 55 contestants making up 6 different categories. In celebration of our 5oth Anniversary we hope to welcome back many of the former Miss PDA Queens. It will be a dazzling and exciting night. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
March 19th PDA’s Springfest Dinner & Auction
Pee Dee Academy’s annual Dinner and Auction will be held at Hidden Acres in Marion, SC. Tickets for the event are $100 a couple and can be purchased by contacting the school office at 843-423-1771.
