GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – A woman involved in a South Carolina crash Friday evening that injured two and killed an unborn baby has been charged with felony DUI.
South Carolina Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Ashley Bridges was driving south on Sulphur Springs Road in Greenville, SC, at 6:50 p.m. when she struck the back of a car driven by 31-year-old Robert Whitmire. The impact caused Whitmire’s vehicle to cross the center line and strike two SUVs.
Whitmire and his passenger, Mindy McCall, were both injured in the wreck and were taken at Greenville Memorial Hospital. McCall, who was pregnant at the time of the crash, lost her baby due to the injuries.
