MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – Join dozens of other runners and race fanatics on April 30th, for the 3rd Annual Run Darlington Bojangles’ Half Marathon, 5K, and 1.366 Mile Fun Run. Runners will have the opportunity of a lifetime to cross the historic Darlington Raceway finish line during their final lap of competition.
Over 65 years later, Darlington Raceway is still known as the track “Too Tough to Tame” with names like Baker, Flock, Thomas, Pearson, Yarborough, Petty, Earnhardt and Johnson becoming commonplace in victory lane. Darlington Raceway’s historical significance, as the original paved superspeedway in NASCAR, is unparalleled.
Finishers of the Bojangles’ Half Marathon will receive a medal that is representative of the legendary egg-shaped oval, Darlington Raceway. The awards ceremony will be held in Victory Lane following the conclusion of the race. Food and beverages will be provided after the event to those participating in one of the featured races.
A portion of the proceeds will go to Darlington Shares.

FAQ’s:
Is there a time limit for the Bojangles’ Half Marathon?
Yes. Participants must reach the 11.5 mile mark of the course within 3 hours (11:00 am).
When are awards?
Awards for the 5k event will be presented at 9:30 am and awards for the Bojangles’ Half Marathon will be presented at 10:30 am. Both awards presentations will be take place in Gatorade Victory Lane.
When is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be Friday, April 29th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Darlington Raceway Museum. Packet pickup will also be available on the morning of the event from 7:00 am to 7:45 am in the Sprint Cup Series Garage on the Darlington Raceway infield.
Where is parking located?
Parking for the event will be located on the Darlington Raceway infield. Participants can enter the infield from gate 39a on Harry Byrd Hwy. Please arrive early! Access to the tunnel and infield will end approximately 10 minutes (7:50 am) before the start of the event.

Refreshments will be provided to the participants after they have completed their event. Unfortunately, refreshments are ONLY available to those registered in the event.
