HARTSVILLE, S.C. (WBTW) – Police arrested a Hartsville man Thursday in connection to a series of burglaries in the Prestwood Drive area of Hartsville.
A homeowner on Home Avenue found a person trying to use a window to get inside a home, according to Mark Blair of the Hartsville Police Department. The man ran off when he found out someone was home, but police caught up with him nearby.
The suspect was identified as Chauncy Frazier of Hartsville. Blair said Frazier admitted to a few burglaries during questioning, but investigations continue.
Blair tells News 13 that Hartsville Police are investigating as many as nine separate burglaries that may be connected, though admits they may or may not involve the same suspect or suspects.
