MURRELLS INLET, SC (WBTW) – A two car crash on Highway 707 has killed one driver Friday afternoon, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Cpl. Sonny Collins with highway patrol says the crash happened around 12:05 p.m. Friday when a 2002 Ford car was pulling out of a business parking lot near Knollwood Drive. The driver pulled out in front of a MAC truck that was traveling south on Hwy 707, Cpl. Collins adds.
The truck hit the driver side part of the car, killing 74-year-old Carole Bishop, of Murrells Inlet, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler. The driver of the MAC truck was uninjured in the crash. No charges will be filed in this incident, reports Cpl. Collins.
