MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach Police have made an arrest in connection with the weekend shooting in the area of 33rd Avenue and U.S. Highway 17 Bypass.
A man and woman reported to police that someone shot at them while they were following a suspicious vehicle. That shooting happened around 9:30 Sunday night. No one was hurt, police said.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Brandon Joseph Jordan around 9 p.m. Monday night. Jordan is charged with attempted murder in connection with the crime and is currently being held in the Myrtle Beach jail.
Officers tell News13 they were searching for a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV after the shooting was reported. According to a police report, the Tahoe may have a lowered rear end with a custom tag light that was described as a bright blue LED light.
