COLUMBIA, S.C. (WBTW)- The SCHP has responded to 439 collisions, 170 calls for assisting motorists, 118 trees in the roadway and 104 reports of flooding since Friday.
Troopers say three of those crashes were fatalities. Those crashes happened in Aiken, Anderson and Greenville.
As night falls, troopers advise motorists to limit travel as much as possible as the ground will become saturated and could result in more trees in the roadways as well as standing water.
