MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) — Computer problems at Myrtle Beach International Airport Friday morning meant longer wait times at gates for passengers.
According to the airport’s Twitter account, the airlines are processing passengers manually. Airport officials urged passengers to arrive well head of scheduled departure times and to expect long lines.
As of 10:00 a.m., the airport was asking passengers to print boarding passes prior to coming to the airport. The goal is to speed up the check-in process. Also, passengers were encouraged to check with airline prior coming to the airport for flight status.
