GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – In the aftermath of historic flooding, Georgetown County has extended hours at Recycling Convenience Centers and landfill to aid with recovery efforts.
County officials say the extended hours will be at Andrews, Dunbar and Browns Ferry Convenience Centers.
Officials ask you to take multiple loads or volumes greater than pickup and/or 8’x5’x3’ trailer to landfill location.
The landfill’s hours will be extended starting Monday October 19,2015 thru Friday October 23, 2015 7:30am – 6:00pm. On Saturday October 24, 2015 extended hours will be from 8:00am – 4:00pm.
The landfill is at 201 Landfill Drive, about three miles northwest of the intersection of Highways 701 and 51.
