MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Kristi Falk with the South Carolina Wellness Council spends time promoting healthy living through education to families.
One way to inspire children to live healthfully is to promote recycling. She says there are ways to teach kids about recycling during Halloween.
Falk suggests reusing old clothes or purchasing clothes from a thrift shop to create a Halloween costume. She also says you can use materials you may find in you recycling bin, like jars and cans, to make Halloween decorations.
