FLORENCE COUNTY, SC – For a limited time contractors working in relief of flood victims on county maintained roads, will be allowed to dump flood related debris at the county manned convenience centers (MCC) pending the completion of a contractor debris removal certificate provided by Florence County Environmental Services.
Before debris can be hauled, the certificate must first be completed. The certificate can be obtained at the Florence County Environmental Services office, 1487 Pound Rd. in Effingham, Monday- Friday from 10a.m. – 4p.m.
The convenience centers are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7a.m. -7p.m.
