MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A car crash has traffic traveling southbound backed up on the 17 Bypass just beyond the Backgate intersection Friday afternoon.
According to online reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. near Azalea Lakes Boulevard on Highway 17 Bypass southbound. Officials have not reported any details surrounding the crash. It is not known at this time if there are any injuries involved.
While traffic is not completely blocked, drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible and expect delays if traveling in the southbound lanes.
