HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – St. James High School is attempting to Fill the Bus for neighboring schools in Georgetown County whose students lost nearly all of their possessions in the flood.

The school has “adopted” three Georgetown County schools as they begin to rebuild their schools, homes, and community. The goal is to fill the bus, or two, with toiletries, canned/dry food, clothes, blankets, bleach, books, toys, and coats.

WBTW’s Jonee Lewis will speak with teachers at St. James about the collection process and then she visits Carvers Bay, where teachers say some of their students lost everything.

You can see this complete story Thursday evening on News13 at 5 and 6.
