MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – The Grand Strand Humane Society got some much needed help Sunday, as the Market Common hosted the annual Walk for the Animals.
Pets dressed up for a Halloween costume contest, raffle, and a parade.
Money raised will pay for food and medicine at the Humane Society.
10 dogs were also up for adoption, a cause close to one walkers heart.
“They seem to love a little bit harder, they know what you did for them. You saved them, so you can tell they appreciate that,” said Priscilla Penn, an owner of a rescue dog.
