HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) An accident on US-15 business in Darlington County killed a pedestrian Saturday night.
This is the second deadly car/pedestrian accident in the area in twenty four hours.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says 60 year old Clyde Benjamin was struck by a car and killed on North Fifth Street in Hartsville.
Mr. Benjamin was pronounced dead at the scene. Highway patrol says he was wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
